“System analysis” will help participants of “BIT Siberia 2009” solve problems

The lecture on “System analysis” will be held in the TUSUR Student Business-Incubator “Druzhba” (147 Krasnoarmeiskaya st., room 106) on February, 25 at 17.30. The lecture is a part of the open educational program of “BIT Siberia 2009”.

The lecturer is Felix Tarasenko, the head of the Theoretical Cybernetics Department of Tomsk State University, the dean of the International Department of Management in TSU.

Mr. Tarasenko is a distinguished professional in system analysis. He has published over 150 of his articles and a few monographs. Over the course of fifteen years he has been reading different variants of his lectures in universities of different cities and for students with different majors. For example, in Tomsk State University he reads lectures for students from ten physic-mathematical, scientific and humanitarian faculties. Moreover, an adapted version has been continuously read for entrepreneurs and administrators in graduate business schools in Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Kemerovo, Barnaul and Surgut.

The author believes that all problems are solved in the same manner, using the same approach. Is it possible to develop a general solution algorithm regardless of any particular aim? It turns out to be possible. The nature of a problem barely influences the method of their solution. Methods of solving complex problems are universal. Ant this is what system analysis is – a science, an art, an intuition. This field of knowledge goes well in line with the personality of Felix Tarasenko who is a many-sided man, who has many interests and who will always offer advice for anyone who turns to him.

The seminar is free for all comers.
