Lecturers from the Academy of National Economy will hold the BIT Siberia 2010 educational program in Krasnoyarsk



The “Principles of Technology Commercialization” educational program within the framework of the BIT Siberia 2010 competition will start on October 14 at 14:00 in Polytechnic Institute of the Siberian Federal University (26 Kirenskogo st., room D 4–38). The Business of Innovation and Technology competition has a six-year long history in Russia. Within the competition structure there are regional divisions, such as BIT Saint-Petersburg, BIT Volga, BIT Far East, BIT Siberia, BIT Kazan, BIT Ural, and the two competitions held in Moscow: BIT Finance Academy and HSE{10K} in State University – Higher School of Economics.

The BIT competition is based on the principles of the most successful business competition – «MIT $100K» which has been held by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology since 1990. The competition does not simply select the best innovation ideas, but it selects the best business-plans and teams which are willing to implement their ideas into business.

The BIT competition is an opportunity for developers to commercialize their projects, meet potential investors and raise finances for initiation (or development) of their business. For investors it is an opportunity to find an interesting and promising project for investment.

 

Within the framework of the competition there is an educational program for those team-members and independent participants who wish to improve their knowledge of the principles of developments commercialization.

The Krasnoyarsk innovators are offered a two-month series of lectures by some of the best and the most experienced experts of the Department of Innovation-and-Technology Business of the Academy of National Economy under the Government of Russia (FITB ANE, Moscow).

 

The lecturers are:

          Dr. V.A. Antonetz, Director of LLC Nizhny Novgorod High-Technology Agency, Professor of the Department of innovative projects management in FITB ANE. His lectures are “Commercialization strategy and instruments for its development” and “Accessing commercial potential of a technology”;

          Dr. V.A. Pervushin, General Director of LLC Techconsult-Management, Chairman of the Department of innovative projects management in FITB ANE. His lectures are “Innovative project management”;

          S.A. Sterkhova, Marketing Director of LLC Egro EKOS, Assistant Professor of the Department of innovative projects management in FITB ANE. Her lectures are “New product development and promotion process” and “Search for a new technology consumer. Marketing instruments”;

          Dr. V.G. Zinov, Dean of the Department of innovative projects management in FITB ANE, Director of the International Technology Incubator Fund. His lectures are “Strategy of Intellectual assets management in innovation-based business” and “License trade”.

 

The program is organized by the Krasnoyarsk Krai Fund for Science-and-Technology Work Support, Academy of National Economy under the Government of Russia; OJSC Innovation Management Company FiBr, Siberian Federal University, Krasnoyarsk City Innovation-and-Technology Business-Incubator, media support – media holding i-smi.

  • Is there a universal solution for any problem? In his lecture on system analysis, which was held in the TUSUR Student Business-Incubator “Druzhba” on February 25, Felix Tarasenko answered this question. The lecture has been held within the framework of the educational program of the “Business of Innovative Technologies in Siberia 2009” competition.
  • The management-and-action game “Effective entrepreneurship: resources and potential” will be held in the Student Business-Incubator “Druzhba” (147 Krasnoarmeiskaya st., room 106) on February, 28 at 10.30.
  • The lecture on “System analysis” will be held in the TUSUR Student Business-Incubator “Druzhba” (147 Krasnoarmeiskaya st., room 106) on February, 25 at 17.30. The lecture is a part of the open educational program of “BIT Siberia 2009”.
  • The “Your own startup” lecture by Tatiana Sokolnikova was held in the TUSUR Student Business-Incubator “Druzhba” on February, 21.

  • How should a million rubles be spent? Last weekend participants of a seminar on “Strategies of decision-making and negotiating” tried to answer this question. The seminar was held within the framework of the educational program of “BIT Siberia 2009”.
